Homes built by hand,
not by template.
Legacy Oaks is a family owned construction company specializing in custom homes, renovations, and select residential construction. We intentionally limit the number of projects we take on so we can stay personally involved from early planning through final walkthrough.

Built from family experience.
The founder, Josue Gonzalez, has a background in aviation maintenance, so attention to detail is something ingrained into the culture of the company. Josue learned the construction business in the field, working through different phases of residential construction and seeing firsthand how much proper planning, good communication, and attention to the work itself matter.
No empty promises.
No runaround.
Just honest craftsmanship, clear communication, and homes built to stand as part of a lasting legacy.
What We Build
Every service is delivered by the same team, the same owner, the same hands. No sub-standard subcontractor tier. No hand-off.

Why Build With Legacy Oaks
Owner Directly Involved
You’ll work directly with the founder throughout the project, not through multiple layers of management.
Quality Craftsmanship
Quality is checked at every stage, from framing to final finishes.
Attention to Detail
Attention to detail starts long before the finishes go up.
Residential & Commercial Experience
Our background includes residential and commercial construction, renovations, structural work, and multifamily projects.
Built to Last
Built with proven construction methods and materials designed to last.
One Standard Across Every Trade
We work with experienced trades and subcontractors while keeping project oversight and client communication directly with Legacy Oaks.
A clear path from the first conversation through project completion.
- Step 01
Free Consultation
Every project starts with a conversation. We'll help identify what needs to happen before planning your future home. - Step 02
Planning
We'll review your property, discuss the scope of work, budget, and timeline, and identify the next steps needed before construction can begin. - Step 03
Design
We collaborate with your architect to design a home that can be built the way it is drawn. - Step 04
Construction
During construction, Legacy Oaks coordinates the schedule for day to day project execution while remaining your primary point of contact from start to finish. - Step 05
Final Walkthrough
We walk the project with you, document remaining items, complete final corrections, and make sure you understand the systems and finishes in your home. - Step 06
Ongoing Support
Project turnover does not mean the relationship disappears. If a question comes up after completion, you still know who to call.
What Our Clients Say
“They treated our house the way they would treat their own. That is the highest compliment I know how to give a builder.
“Every question was answered directly, on the same day. The finish work speaks for itself, but the communication is what we still talk about.
“Owner-run means something here. He was on site more than the crew was.
Frequently Asked Questions
If your question isn't here, ask it directly. We'll answer the same day.
Do you build outside your immediate region?+
Yes, we take on a small number of out of market projects each year when the schedule and site allow us to maintain the same level of involvement and oversight.
Can you work with our architect?+
Absolutely. Most of our projects are collaborations. When you don't have one yet, we can introduce you to designers we trust.
How many projects do you run at once?+
We intentionally keep our project count low. It allows us to remain personally involved and gives each client direct access to the person overseeing their build.
How long does a project take?+
Timelines depend heavily on design, permitting, site conditions, material lead times, and project scope. During pre construction, we'll develop a realistic schedule based on your specific project rather than give you a generic completion date.
How does pricing work?+
Depending on the project, we may use a fixed price or a cost plus contract structure. Before signing, we'll walk through the budget, allowances, fees, and major assumptions so you understand how the project is priced.
